An event like Can-Am DanceSport Gala would not be possible without the involvement of our Pro/Am competitors. We value and appreciate the professionals and amateurs who took part in the wide variety of Pro/Am events that were held. We’ve added the Pro/Am results to our results page for easy viewing.

We’re pleased to announce that everyone with a Friday matinee ticket can enjoy FREE lectures from Marcus Hilton, Peter Eggleton, Nadia Eftedal and Vibeke Toft!

Take advantage of the insights and experience of some of the best coaches in the world. You would normally pay a significant amount just for a single workshop with any one of these sought-after coaches. Here’s your chance to enjoy them at no charge! No matter what level or style you dance at, you’ll gain information that will make you a better dancer.

The lectures take place Friday, August 12 from 3:00–5:00pm. There is no charge for these world class lectures, as long as you have a paid Friday matinee ticket. Just show the entry ticket to get into the lecture hall.

We are still receiving and accepting entries all this week. By next week we will be heating and setting up the program for printing.

Mail started moving again in Canada on Tuesday. No late fee will apply for all entries received and postmarked before July 6th.

We’re pleased to announce that we’ve added Open Professional Salsa Championship to the schedule for Can-Am DanceSport Gala. Salsa is growing in support across the continent. As an event with a legacy of encouraging the development of competitive partner dancing, the Salsa Pro Championship competition is a natural fit for Can-Am. The Salsa competition features a prize purse totaling $2,000 and will take place Friday night during Session 4. Make sure you take in this exciting opportunity to see the best Salsa dancers.
